FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released its new rules for disclosure compliance.

These rules are set out to ensure that readers or viewers of web media are aware if they are sponsored, endorsed or partnered with another company by a blogger or publisher. Readers need to know if the content publisher is making money by sharing a link or product.

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please note the following about the links and posts on this site:

Techtools4mom.com has all / affiliate links to any link for which I get a small compensation from the sale of some items.

What are affiliate links?

Purchased on external affiliate company websites: When a reader clicks on the affiliate link located on Techtools4mom.com to purchase an item, the reader purchases the item directly from the seller (not from it

review).

Amazon and/or other companies review a small commission or other compensation to help get customers to their website.

The prices for readers are exactly the same whether they are buying through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. Clicking on an affiliate link and clicking on a non-affiliate link does not change the price or anything else for the visitor.

Techtools4mom uses two main types of affiliate programs:

1. Amazon affiliate link.

Techtools4mom.com is a partner in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that provides website owners with a means to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliate sites, as well as other affiliate websites. , Which may be associated with the Amazon Service LLC Associates Program.

2. Product affiliate link.

If you click on the product affiliate link and purchase the product, I will get a percentage of sales or some other type of compensation.

If you use these affiliate links again the prices are no different. You will not pay more by clicking on the link. These links are not "pay per click".

What about sponsored content?

I do not write sponsored posts. I want to provide authentic, non-biased information. However, if a company wishes to publish sponsored content on a reviewed topic, I will clearly disclose it at the beginning of the post. The bottom line is that I only recommend products that I use myself or which I would recommend to family and friends.

Your purchase helps support my research efforts. Thanks a lot! I appreciate you!
